The ACU Foundation exists to assist friends of the university in developing life plans which address idenditified concerns and issues. Garrett, who is president of The ACU Foundation and vice chancellor of the university, has more than 30 years experience in the field of estate planning. He has assisted hundreds of individuals and families in achieving their personal, family and philanthropic goals through planning. Garrett is a board member of the American Council on Gift Annuities in addition to other volunteer and professional leadership positions. |

Evans has served as president and CEP of two colleges, a national foundation and a major media ministry. As executive director of The ACU Foundation, his training and experience include trust and estate administration and financial and estate planning for individuals and families. Evans also serves as a trustee for national and international ministires. |

Sargent's background in the financial services industry adds a new dimension of expertise to The ACU Foundation. In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner, his has banking experience and holds investment and insurance licenses. |

Marilyn works as an Executive Assistant in The ACU Foundation. She assists with general administrative duties and also oversees all student employees in the office. In addition, Marilyn works closely with the Heritage Society, Annual Golf Classic, and the ACU Lectureship. She coordinates all teleconferences, Power Point presentations, and publications of The ACU Foundation. Marilyn began her service at ACU in 2002. |

Debbie serves as the assistant to the President of the ACU Foundation. She is active in assisting the foundation officers in processing research. Prior to coming to ACU in 2007, Debbie served as the Public Relations and Recruitment Specialist for the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District in Alaska. |
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society identifies, honors, and encourages alumni and friends of the university to participate in a long-range and often substantial gift to ACU. The Heritage Society honors those who have included ACU in their estate plans. This anonymous society is available to those who:
- Include ACU as a beneficiary in his/her will.
- Name ACU as the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Name ACU as a beneficiary of a life income gift (a remainder trust, gift annuity, or lead trust).
- Make a gift of a personal residence or farm to ACU with a life estate reserved.
